posticon Where to teach

Guitar stores always have rooms in the back for teachers. Do the teachers have to rent these out from the store? If so, how much does it cost?

Re: Where to teach

I think you'll find this varies from store to store. Sometimes they pay you and charge the clients themselves, other times you charge the clients and pay them. Best bet is to call your local stores and chat to them about what their deal is.

Alternatively teach from your own home, local youth club, boy scout hut, or offer to go out to your clients homes (people are often happy to pay for your travel time in this case).

My ebook: How to Make a Living Teaching Guitar will give you full instructions on how to get your teaching business up and running.

Good luck!
